Descending time’s rusted vacuum, where no transmission, codex or communiqué, no crumb of thought guaranteed segue. A face of stone speaks not once, not thrice, not five, the story shifts perpetually. Tales untold, a scheme unfolds till pages finely hewn wear thin. Tales of power and opposition intercede. Virtue, vice, vanity. Crime-filled chasms gape, while legends from the battle break of Liberty.

2013: A photograph by noted photographer Scott London was included in Rolling Stone’s 25-picture Burning Man Album, the only art on fire to be included in that collection

2016: Above mentioned photograph was published in the book “Burning Man, Art on Fire” (Race Point Publishing) coauthored by Larry Harvey with three other key players. The picture comprises the full page, opposite chapter 6, “Art Ablaze”, page 212.
Noteworthy:

Aku-Aku and Annunaki Watch met its metamorphosis by Fire Inside at this event. They mark the first such burns ever at Burning Man. Aku-Aku burned the first night, Tuesday and Annunaki Watch the next.
